Tysk-norsk litteraturfestival    
In April 2019, Tysk-norsk litteraturfestival (the German-Norwegian Literature Festival) invited over 100 writers, translators, academics and journalists to the Literature House in Oslo. All photos by Ilja Hendel.

The festival wanted a visual identity that was exciting, literary and vibrant. The typography combines German and Norwegian heritage. With a geometric font based on the Art Deco period in the 20-30s, combined with the Norwegian Telefon font visual references from both countries have been preserved.
